Crystal Crag Lodge

Nestled among the trees alongside beautiful Lake Mary, at an elevation of 9000 feet, are the cabins and boats of Crystal Crag Lodge, a most exceptional place. But be careful… this is habit-forming. Since the 1920s, our guests have been coming back year after year to enjoy our breathtaking beauty, crystal clear air and water, amazing wilderness scenery, countless hiking and biking trails, some of the best trout fishing in the Eastern Sierra, and the relaxing and friendly atmosphere of Crystal Crag Lodge.

Our rental boats are gassed up and ready to go, and our rustic cabins are fully-equipped, including fireplaces, decks with barbecues, kitchens with utensils and dishes, and bedrooms and bathrooms stocked with linens and towels. Many cabins have incredible views of the Lake Mary and the mountains! And of course our staff of friendly hosts will meet all your needs.

Only a few minutes’ drive up the road from the stores and restaurants of Mammoth, Crystal Crag Lodge feels very secluded. We are right at the edge of the High Sierra back country, and close by are dozens of lakes, streams, and waterfalls, just an easy walk, car ride, bike ride, or hike away. Trophy-sized trout are a regular occurrence at Lake Mary, just a few steps away from your cabin door. So come and experience all the pleasures of the mountains and all the comforts of home at Crystal Crag Lodge.
